So yeah I was watching the Yankees today and the blew the game. Andy Pettite made his first Yankee appearance in a long time, and he did O.K. I mean he gave up three runs (while Jeter had an error) and I'm not really sure how many strikeouts he had. But he left in like the sixth inning with a tie game and some men on base. Then of course, the Yankee bullpen blew two runs. But then Matsui came up and batted in two runs to tie the game.
The game is tied, and you would think that I would end the story by saying that the Yankees will end up winning. No...Once again their bullpen led up a run. But the Yankees had another chance in the eight inning with the bases loaded. Abreu was up, but he grounded out. And the great Alex Rodriguez came up with two outs and the bases loaded. Yeah what else is knew, he popped out.
By now you are probably asking why I'm talking about this. The truth of the matter is that I'm just upset that the Yankees lost today. They need these types of wins to clinch the division. I don't want to go to the playoffs as a wild card because I would rather have the red hot Red Sox get knocked off by another team in the playoffs. Whatever!!!!!
